Do you want to be able to do all you can, should an emergency happen?
EFR Primary and Secondary Care Course’s primary focus is on recognizing and attending to most life-threatening problems and is designed for both divers and non-divers. You will learn first aid skills that prepare you to render emergency care for common problems that are not immediately life threatening. Learn how to deal with less serious illnesses and injuries and what to do if the emergency medical services are delayed.
The Emergency First Response courses build lay rescuer confidence to provide care when faced with a medical emergency. Participants learn and practice the same patient care techniques and principles used by medical professionals, but at a lay person level.
The PADI Emergency First Response course is normally conducted in 1 day at our dive base.
Complete your theory before your holiday and bring your referral forms, signed by your instructor and we will complete your course and certification with you.
Referral is the process of providing training documentation to another PADI Instructor when a student diver is part-way through a course and wants to finish the course at another location. Referrals expire 12 months from the date of the last training segment.
This is an ideal opportunity to combine your class training at home, whilst doing your open water dives during your vacation.

Sidemount allowed cave divers to further explore dry caves and navigate flooded passages. It made it possible for divers to explore restrictions they otherwise wouldn’t be able to before. And it has now taken on a life of its own turning into one of the most popular courses across training agencies. Scuba diving with a sidemount configuration simply means that you carry your tanks at your sides instead of on your back. This can reduce drag and is more comfortable for many divers. Sidemount divers often dive with two smaller tanks that are attached in the water. This makes carrying tanks and kitting up easier, especially for those who have difficulty lifting or walking with a backmounted tank. Technical divers typically need to carry extra cylinders, and believe that using a sidemount setup is the best option.
The PADI Sidemount Diver course introduces divers to sidemount techniques for recreational scuba diving.
